What is a virtual cohort?
Virtual cohorts are groups of sustainability and health care professionals of Practice Greenhealth hospital and health system partners (and invited guests) meeting to learn from peers and experts in the field, develop new strategies to overcome barriers and challenges to implementing sustainability initiatives, and grow their network with new connections to leaders and innovators.
Virtual cohorts are reserved for hospital and health system partners in the U.S. and Canada. For all other affiliate, allied and academic partners, please view industry partner opportunities.
How does it work?
Cohorts meet virtually with a Practice Greenhealth facilitator for recurring sessions of perspective, peer engagement, and progress. The facilitator will send a calendar invite and reminder email, including the session topic and discussion questions. The sessions are not recorded, the value comes from live participation.
What is expected of me?
The success of these sessions comes from your active participation, so please be sure to review the quarterly topic and discussion questions prior to joining each session.
“Calls are very informative and cover topics in my area of expertise. We’re just launching an initiative and I’m looking to learn as much as I can on how to successfully implement the changes.”
– GOR cohort participant
How does it help me?
Learn through a proven process
Benefit from the success and experience of other sustainability or health care professionals that have gained leadership’s support, provide step-by-step implementation advice, and access resources and tools to help you along the way.
Gain clarity, avoid blind spots.
Get unstuck. Craft a clear plan for your next sustainability initiative. Glean feedback and insights from a cohort of like-minded peers and experts in the field.
Build relationships with other professionals who have experienced similar issues, barriers, or obstacles and overcome them through innovation and perseverance.
“I join for connections with others who have similar challenges implementing sustainability into their systems and communities. And to learn, grow, share, and do it in a safe place.”
