Armed with a Doctorate in Health Innovation and Leadership, she serves as Affiliate Faculty at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, is published in multiple academic journals, and presents internationally about climate action in health care. Shanda lives in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range in Crestone, Colorado.

John earned an MBA and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, and he graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.S. in molecular and cellular biology. At the start of his career, he worked as a cancer researcher at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. John is excited to be advocating for his two passions: sustainability and public health.
