Kristen has worked in university sustainability offices and urban sustainability nonprofits, where she’s led zero waste, social sustainability, and strategic planning efforts. She believes justice, wellness, and community health are fundamental parts of sustainability. She has a B.A. in anthropology and sustainability and an M.S. in environmental governance. Based in the New York City area, she loves being outdoors and enjoys hiking, biking, and hammocking around the Lower Hudson Valley.

Prior to joining Practice Greenhealth, he worked for over a decade in the field of medical device reprocessing to help health systems across the United States reduce waste and create financial savings. In his free time, Jake loves being an uncle to his niece and enjoys cooking, going to the gym, and being actively involved in his neighborhood.

John has been in the sustainability field for over a decade, and most recently at Harvard University’s Office for Sustainability, where he helped advance their healthier building materials program. John earned an MBA and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, and he graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.S. in molecular and cellular biology. At the start of his career, he worked as a cancer researcher at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. John is excited to be advocating for his two passions: sustainability and public health.

Folasade works on our food is medicine/values-based purchasing initiative in the eastern region. She brings exceptional program planning and management skills, with a robust background in public health. She previously worked as a research program coordinator at the University of Georgia, where she oversaw food system initiatives between the university and Spelman College through the Sustainability Food Systems Initiative. Based in Atlanta, she is passionate about food justice. She enjoys macarons, a good musical, and is on a mission to find the best brunch spots in Atlanta.

Lucia brings over 25 years of experience in non-profit management, community organizing, environmental health program development, and regional food systems transformation to her new role as the Director of Place-Based Initiatives.
