Lucia has worked to build innovative, equitable regional food systems for the past 25 years. In her current role, Lucia is responsible for designing strategies that engage health care organizations in their role as anchor institutions – to work with their local communities to build community health, wealth, and climate resilience. Lucia has been co-convening the Anchors in Resilient Communities (ARC) project in California for the past seven years.
