As a surgical nurse with graduate training in sustainability, Lindsay views sustainability in health care as an expansion of her advocacy from patient to planet. She brings both clinical insight and systems thinking to her work with partners and enjoys helping health systems build practical, resilient sustainability programs. She is especially passionate about health equity and believes health care providers have both an opportunity and a responsibility to lead in protecting human and environmental health. Her areas of interest include Greening the OR, waste reduction, sustainable food systems, and health system resilience. When she's not working, Lindsay enjoys yoga, crafting, live music, cooking plant-forward meals, or hammocking with a good book.
