New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF)
The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF), the state’s not-for-profit workers’ compensation insurer, provides an upfront premium credit (5%, up to $1 million) to hospital and other health care policyholders that pledge to develop a climate action plan. Participants continue receiving the credit each year as they submit and implement their plans and also have access to NYSIF’s risk control services, including climate-related training resources and a learning forum.
