Leading health care organizations recognize the link between healthy people and a healthy planet. In this session, we introduce “the case” for sustainability. Leaders from Advocate Aurora Health, BSR, and Cigna will share why there is a sustainability imperative at their organizations. Speakers will share why sustainability is important from a mission and business perspective, how they keep it front and center among competing initiatives, and how sustainability and community resilience teams who address social determinants of health work together to clearly articulate and act at the intersection of sustainability and health.
