As climate change increasingly challenges our most critical infrastructure, the need for climate-resilient and sustainable health care facilities has never been more urgent. This session explored the crucial role of resilient, renewable, and reliable energy, water, and resource flows in creating climate-resilient organizations while also decarbonizing facilities.
Participants learned how to identify stakeholders and obtain relevant organizational metrics while creating an achievable climate action plan. Speakers discussed how to create a climate action plan that uses a whole-system approach to identify and implement emissions reduction opportunities across all GHG scopes, aiming for carbon neutrality or net zero.
