Participate in our new regional hub series, which kicks off on March 27, to connect, learn, and collaborate with Practice Greenhealth peers on timely and impactful sustainability initiatives. 

By fostering regional connections, participants will share insights, strategies, and innovations to help drive environmental sustainability in health care. Exchange best practices, access new resources, and spark collaborative partnerships that help advance your organizations' environmental sustainability goals.

Main objectives of this experience:

  • Foster regional collaboration: Create a platform for health care organizations across different regions to connect, share knowledge, and collaborate on sustainability initiatives tailored to local needs and challenges.
  • Promote knowledge sharing: Enable participants to exchange best practices, innovative solutions, and strategies for advancing environmental sustainability within healthcare organizations.
  • Drive collective action: Encourage actionable outcomes by leveraging regional insights to implement and scale sustainability initiatives across the health care sector.

Bio

Matthew supports the growth and advancement of environmental sustainability initiatives across the health care sector.  Drawing on several years in dedicated sustainability roles within Northeast Ohio health systems, Matthew shares on-the-ground experience with hospital partners as they navigate their own paths forward.  He has supported or developed health system programs focused on communication and employee engagement, green building, energy management, waste reduction, food sourcing, and other efforts centered on improving efficiencies and supporting health.  Inspired by how the environments we create can support wellness, he continues his education as a LEED AP, WELL AP, Fitwel Ambassador, and TRUE Advisor.
