Achieving The Joint Commission’s Sustainable Healthcare Certification
1–1:30 pm ET (10–10:30 am PT)
2024 was a landmark year for The Joint Commission, which launched its first domestic Sustainable Healthcare Certification, along with the first ever international Healthcare Sustainability Certification. The Domestic Certification has motivated 120 hospitals to demonstrate sustainability successes from leadership and oversight to assessment, measurement, and improvement tactics. Hospitals applying for the certificate must share greenhouse gas reduction strategies across chosen categories of buildings and energy, transportation, anesthetic gases and inhalers, and waste. Learn more about the certification requirements and benefits for organizations such as yours.
Multiple sessions will help you prepare for the certification at CleanMed in Atlanta on May 6-8, 2025, and this session is your chance for a sneak peek of what you can expect.
Don’t worry – if you can’t join us on the day of the webinar, each webinar will be recorded and posted on the Destination CleanMed series webpage soon after the live event.
