Briana previously worked as operations and programs assistant at One World Surgery in the Dominican Republic, where she contributed to opening a new surgical center and running programs providing medical care to those in need. She graduated in 2023 with a degree in human physiology and sustainable development from the University of Minnesota and will return to pursue a master's degree in public health administration and policy next fall. She enjoys taking photos with her film camera, reading books on neuroscience and environmental philosophy, surfing on the lake, walking around parks and gardens, and trying out new coffee shops.
