Topic

Another report, you ask? As healthcare professionals, you may be wondering about the merits of producing a sustainability report, especially those organizations already publishing annual and/or community benefit reports.

Faced with finite natural resources, changing legislation, concerns over quality and safety, supply chain risks, and heightened public expectations for corporate accountability, tune in to this interactive Webinar to hear from Dignity Health and Johnson & Johnson why measuring, managing and reporting on environmental, social and governance impacts make their organizations more responsive to a transforming business environment and increased stakeholder demands.

Dignity Health (formerly Catholic Healthcare West) not only the first in the industry to produce a sustainability report according to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), but also actively exercised its share holder influence to engage suppliers on particularly environmental and social issues of greatest significance to Dignity and its key stakeholders (patients, patient families, employees and the local community). And, Johnson & Johnson has been a long-time GRI reporter and has published more than 15 sustainability reports over the years.

Learning Objectives

  • Why report? -The importance and value of sustainability reporting
  • Glean insights into sustainability reporting frameworks and why organizations follow the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
  • Understand the challenges of reporting and tips for overcoming those challenges
