Topic

Health care environmental initiatives have numerous positive outcomes and the multi-pronged approach is the best recipe for success. Starting a new program or maintaining momentum? A cost savings initiative is just what the doctor or nurse ordered. What great news that making a commitment to the environment, to patients, staff, the community and public health can also reduce costs! Learn some success stories and go back and get some attention on your positive initiatives! This is a win-win opportunity.  For this call, we decided to hear brief synopses from three partner facilities and two champion organizations. Learn about solvent recovery, blue wrap elimination in the O.R., a hipaa-compliant office paper recycling program, red bag reduction, recycling and more.
