{Past Event} - Group Purchasing Organization Series with Novation

May 26, 2006 - 1:00 pm - May 26, 2006 - 1:00 pm -- Eastern Standard Time

A commitment to the environment and safety starts with the materials we purchase. Would you like to know more about the resources your Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) offers to help you implement environmental purchasing strategies? Would you like to get to know your GPO and let them know what environmentally preferable products and services you are looking for or need? Join H2E for our GPO teleconference series, designed to help Group Purchasing Organizations and Partner facilities communicate with each other about environmental purchasing initiatives! H2E's Champion GPOs are working hard to provide alternatives to mercury, latex, glutaraldehyde, ethylene oxide, and toxic cleaning chemicals. They are contracting for environmentally sensitive waste management and reprocessing services and are looking for energy and water efficient equipment and other options to help facilities reach their goals of providing a true healing environment.

Takehome Value

H2E's Group Purchasing Organization Champions are taking significant steps toward improving the environmental performance and reducing the environmental impact of the products and services they offer. Join us when your GPO is presenting, to find out how you can partner with your GPO to move this effort forward, and how you can profit from the work already accomplished! Ensure that material handling issues and environmental impact are addressed on your facility's new product evaluation committees. Give that material a voice!
