Topic

Attendees will get immediately actionable tools, strategies, and skills for starting, or expanding, an energy efficient purchasing program – and reducing operating costs substantially. Participants will do an exercise to map out high priority next steps for their organization. Topics include the most current, vendor-neutral information on energy efficient purchasing for the 23 top energy-related pieces of equipment purchased in hospitals, including medical equipment. Presenters will demonstrate use of tools for applying life cycle cost in making purchasing decisions for chillers, air filters, lighting, and VFDs. Hear tips for working with your group purchasing organization – you have the power! Stories from the front lines help you get started and motivate staff.

  • Learn about the best vendor-neutral tools and sources of information for energy efficient purchasing.
