The Greenhealth Academy Sustainability Training series comes to Boston on October 19, 2010. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for attending. Includes breakfast, lunch and breaks.

Participants in this one-day class will walk away understanding:

  • The primary drivers for sustainability in healthcare;
  • How to set up an internal infrastructure to manage sustainability initiatives, including job responsibilities, team building, and internal engagement mechanisms;
  • Personal leadership skills for integrating sustainability including influence without authority, understanding organizational culture change and change management 101;
  • How to develop a sustainability baseline and tips for developing goals and organization-specific priorities;
  • An introduction to the “sustainability spectrum” in healthcare;
  • An overview of the sustainability tools and resources at your fingertips across the sector.
