Investing in Sustainability: How does your hospital decide?

By: Al Iannuzzi, Senor Director Worldwide Environment, Health and Safety, Johnson & Johnson

It’s not surprising that the health care industry is embracing a sustainability mindset, as the link among greener operations, improved patient outcomes and lower operating costs has become more apparent.

In anticipation of the 2013 CleanMed Conference and Exposition, Practice Greenhealth and Johnson & Johnson have launched a survey to better understand the factors driving sustainability strategies at hospitals in the U.S. and around the world. The aim is to learn how health care organizations make investment decisions for sustainability initiatives and what’s on the minds of hospital administrators regarding financial and operational challenges related to the impacts of climate change.

Share your thoughts by participating in the survey here. You can also access the survey by copying and pasting this link into your browser: http://surveymonkey.com/s/cleanmed13

Survey insights will be shared with all participants on Friday, April 26 if you provide your email at the end of the survey. We look forward to seeing you next week at CleanMed Boston!
