Why Mentor?
At Practice Greenhealth, we recognize that there are many experts within our membership. We are all students and all teachers. Applying for Mentor status does not mean your facility is an expert at all things, but rather has excelled in a specific target area that you could teach other members. The program highlights success in a specific strategy—while allowing members to learn from each other in different topic areas. Learn today how your facility could be recognized in the health care community as a strong mentor for your successes.

Mentor Commitment
The time commitment is small yet the benefits are significant and long-term.

Provide information (through template) for highlight on Practice Greenhealth website and Greenhealth magazine.

Present and play leadership role in Mentor education calls of no more than four per topic per year. The call type would bebased on group needs. First might be formal and follow-up for discussion, overcoming obstacles or focusing in on a specificarea, for example. (Call will be coordinated by Practice Greenhealth.)

Provide frequent participation in online forum. The forum could be shared with more than one Mentor to manage timecommitment efficiently. The Mentor could also identify a coordinator from his/her system to monitor the forum forefficiency.

Provide details for press inquiries when directed by Practice Greenhealth (and any other time!)

Maintain membership with Practice Greenhealth for the 18–month commitment.

Commit to participation in Mentor Hospital Program for 18 months from date of acceptance.
