All Practice Greenhealth Business Members can list the products or services they offer in the Supplier Directory.
Business members must enter the listing information themselves.

New Instructions to Login to the Directory
On September 26, 2011, all Business Members with Directory Listings were given new login usernames, passwords, and instructions. We are no longer using FirstTracks for our Directory login. If you did not receive the new login information, contact Lara Sutherland (866-598-2210) to obtain yours.
Getting Started with the Supplier Directory
1. Download the Listing Agreement, sign, and return to Practice Greenhealth via email or fax as instructed in the document.
2. Once Practice Greenhealth receives the signed Agreement, you will receive your Directory Login and Password so you can enter your listing. Note: this login is different from the login information you were given in your welcome email that allows you to log into the members-only web pages and subscribe to webinars.
Edit, Add to, or Create Your Existing Listings in the Supplier Directory
If you have already submitted the Listing Agreement, you should have received your distinct Supplier Directory username and password in an email from Lara Sutherland. The Directory username and password is company-specific and is different from your personal website login. If you forgot your Directory login information, email Lara Sutherland to request a reset. Once logged in, you can add as many products and services as you want.
Login Instructions
- Go to http://practicegreenhealth.org/user/login
- If you get an error on the Login Page, ("You are not authorized to access this page"), you must first logout of the PGH website to ensure you are not logged in with your personal login. Click on "Member Logout" in the upper right corner of the page, and then go to the Login Page.
- Log in using your Directory Login username and password that were sent to your company when you signed the Listing Agreement. This will take you to your company's profile page.
- To edit or add Products to the Supplier Directory, click on the gray "Products" tab below the green bar. To add or edit Services, click on the gray "Services" tab.
- After you click on the gray "Products" or "Services" tab, you will see your products or services (respectively) that are already listed in the Supplier Directory. Click on "Edit This Product" or "Edit This Service" to edit an existing listing. Click on "Add New Product/Service To This Business" to add a new product or service.
Explanation of the Product/Service Listing Entry Form
Once you've logged in with your company-specific Directory login, and opened the form to edit or add a Product or Service listing as described above, you will see these fields where you can put information about your Product or Service. Starred fields are required.
- *Product or Service Name: Enter a name for the product or service. This field will be searchable by Directory users and will be visible in the Directory search results tables. If you are creating a listing for a group of products or services, use a name that describes the group.
- *Supplier Name: Enter your company name here, or the division of your company that distributes or manufactures the product or service you are listing.
- Check here to prevent this listing from being visible in the Directory: Check this box if you don't want the listing to be visible to anyone viewing or searching the Directory. You may want to do this if you have not finished creating the listing but want to save what you've already entered.
- Image: You may upload an image file that will be seen in your Directory Listing. Often this is a picture of the product or your logo. Keep in mind these limitations: The maximum file size for an image is 2 megabytes. Allowed extensions are png, gif, jpg, and jpeg. Images must be no more than 300 x 300 pixels. The image works best if generally in the shape of a square or square-ish rectangle. For instance, 250 x 300 pixels will work. To replace an image previously uploaded, click the "Remove" button.
- Alternate Text: Once you've uploaded your image, you can enter text here that will be used by screen readers for the blind, search engines, or other displays that cannot load the image.
- Title: Once you've uploaded your image, you can enter an image title that will appear when users hover their mouse over the image in the Directory.
- Link To Purchase or Get More Information Title: This is the text that Directory viewers will click on to go to your website.
- Link To Purchase or Get More Information URL: Enter the URL that you want Directory viewers to go to when they click on the linked text. Usually this is your website or a specific webpage for the product.
- Contact Name: This is the name or title of the person you want Directory users to contact about this product or service. Each listing may have a different contact person, if you wish.
- Contact Phone: Enter the phone number you wish viewers to use to contact you about this product or service.
- Contact Email: Enter the email address you wish viewers to use to contact you about this product or service.
- Product(s)/Services Description: Ensure you describe your product or service accurately. See the Listing Agreement for restrictions. You can use formatting tools to create bold or italic text, numbered lists, hyperlinks, and more.
- Measurable Environmental Benefits: Make clear how your product or service can improve your customers' environmental metrics. If possible, include numbers, such as "This product results in a reduction of 5mg Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions per washing cycle when compared to our major competitor," or "Switching from a disposable widget to our reusable widget will result in 5 tons less solid waste for an average 200-bed hospital over the course of one year. We saved one hospital $1000 in waste charges in the first year." If your product can contribute to the earning of a credit in the Green Guide for Healthcare (www.gghc.org), indicate which credit that is. See the Listing Agreement for restrictions on what you can say. You must comply with the current FTC Guides for the Use of Environmental Marketing Claims, and you may also wish to review the proposed revisions to the FTC Guides.
- GPO Contracts and Distributors: If your product is available through GPO contracts, you may list the GPO name here. If your product is available through a distributor, you may wish to list the distributor's name here. For instance, "Purchase this product via Acme Distributors, available through Beta GPO."
- *Category Selection Area. On the right towards the top of the form (below "Save" and "Preview") you will see the category selection area. You must select at least one category. If you are listing a Product, you must first select whether the category is Medical or Non-Medical, and then you will be shown a list of categories in that area. Click the "Add" button after selecting each category you wish to have your listing under. Click here to see a list of available categories for Products, and here for a list of categories for Services, listed with the subcategories you can select under them. When you select a subcategory, your product or service will also appear in its corresponding category. If you don't see the category or subcategory you need, email Lara Sutherland with the name of the category/categories you would like to see, and whether the new category is for a product or a service.
- Save: Make sure you click the "Save" button (at the top right or bottom of the form) to save your listing. Once you have entered your listing and clicked on "Save," your listing will automatically appear in the Directory unless you have checked the box at "Check here to prevent this listing from being visible in the Directory."
Frequently Asked Questions about Business Listings
How much does a listing cost?
Unlimited listings is included as part of a Practice Greenhealth Business Membership.
What categories are available for listings?
A large number of categories are available for products and services. If you don’t see a category you want, email Lara Sutherland with categories you would like Practice Greenhealth to add, and we will add them.
Can Business Members be listed in more than one category?
Yes. If your company offers products or services that span more than one category, you may enter a single listing that appears in more than one category, and you may create separate listings for separate products or services in different categories. Note that Product listings can only appear in Product categories, and Service listings can only appear in Service categories. If you offer something that should appear in both a Product category and a Service category, you must create two separate listings, one under Products and another under Services.
Can Business Members have more than one listing?
Yes. Business Members may create an unlimited number of listings. You may create a separate listing for each product or service, or you may create a listing for a group of similar products or services.
My listing did not appear. What’s wrong?
If you just created a new listing and are trying to find it through the search options on the Directory page, wait approximately four hours for the Directory to re-index before you try again. If that's not the problem, review your listing to ensure you selected a category and entered text into the required Supplier Name and Product/Service Name fields, and that you did not check the box next to "Check here to prevent this listing from being visible in the Directory." Make sure you clicked on the "Save" button after creating or editing your listing. Refresh your browser so that you can see new listings in the Directory. Ensure that your membership has not lapsed. You will see a Notice toward the top of the page where you edit your listing if your membership has lapsed.
I can't find my listing in by using the search feature of the Directory.
Newly-created listings will not show up in search results for one to four hours after they are entered, because the system must create a new index. If you just created a new listing and are trying to find it through the search options on the Directory page, wait approximately four hours for the Directory to re-index before you try again.
I forgot my password or username, or never received them.
Email Lara Sutherland to have your password reset. Ensure your company has signed the Listing Agreement and faxed it to Practice Greenhealth.
I want to change my listing.
Business Members can login at any time to review, change, or delete your listings, or to select listings that you don't want to have visible. Remember you must log in with your special Directory login, not your personal login.
I changed my listing, but it is still the same on Practice Greenhealth’s website.
Ensure you clicked the “Save” button after updating your listing. Ensure you have clicked the “refresh” button on your browser where you are viewing the Directory.
