SRI Surgical is a supplier of sterile surgical packs containing both reusable and disposable products. Since 1991, SRI Surgical has been providing hospitals with reusable products such as surgical gowns, towels, drapes, basins, and instrument sets. All reusable products are processed in one of SRI Surgical's plants that adhere to the standards of an FDA regulated medical device manufacturing environment, ensuring the highest levels of sterility and quality available. In December 2008, SRI Surgical signed an agreement with Cardinal Health that designates Cardinal Health as the exclusive supplier of the disposable components within SRI's surgical packs. Through this channel partner relationship, SRI Surgical and Cardinal Health introduced a new product, the Hybrid Preference Pack. This new offering allows customers to combine both reusable and disposable products into a customized procedure pack, plus benefit from daily delivery and retrieval service directly to the OR. Waste reduction begins by selecting and purchasing reusable products as well as ensuring your procedure pack program is customized to your clinical requirements.
SRI Surgical's reusable surgical packs, including the Hybrid Preference Pack, help hospitals with their green initiatives by:
- Reducing packaging in the OR
- Reducing OR medical waste
- Reducing OR red bag waste
- Assisting staff in the segregation of waste by having SRI retrieval bins in the OR
- Driving OR productivity, safety, and cost containment through the use of customized Hybrid Preference Packs.
