New organization builds path to a greener future
Hospitals that have made the commitment to go green might soon find themselves facing a common question: What next? Considering the countless number of ways a facility can go green and how quickly environmental practices are changing, mapping out the path to a greener future can seem daunting.
Enter Practice Greenhealth, a new member-based nonprofit organization designed to guide hospitals through every step of the greening process. From waste reduction to green purchasing to greener energy, Practice Greenhealth has streamlined the green movement by combining a number of initiatives under one umbrella.
