Practice Greenhealth awarded Heartland hospitals, health systems, and healthcare organizations for outstanding achievements in reducing waste, eliminating mercury, and improving environmental performance.
The following facilities were new inductees in 2008: Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Wis.; Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse, Wis.; Mercy Hospital in Janesville, Wis.; and Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, Minn.
